Deck. is a Hawaiian-American restaurant with Al fresco dining in Queen Kapiolani Hotel. The open space offers a spectacular scenery.
Queen Kapiolani recently reopened after its $37.5 million worth renovation. The hotel has been reborn as a new, fresh and retro hotel with themes reminiscent of the 70s.
Perhaps the most outstanding result of the renovation is Deck. Part of the hotel’s third floor is an 8,000 sq ft swimming pool and Deck Bar & Grill restaurant. This whole general area offers a romantic and trendy ambience. Modern American cuisine is the restaurant’s main theme.
When you get to Deck Bar & Grill on the third floor, the open space overlooking Diamond Head is truly pleasing to your eyes and heart. This newly renovated space is sophisticated and chic.
Mountain, ocean and Waikiki street views surround Deck. Serenity and cool breeze are great additions to the overall atmosphere. The restaurant’s foods are exceptional as well.

When we arrived to the restaurant at 5:30PM, the sun was yet to set. It was still bright outside, and we were able to enjoy the great scenery surrounding Deck. DJ’s music filled the restaurant while we enjoyed the natural breeze.

Grilled 8oz Filet Mignon $35
Angus Beef Steak. The meat is very juicy and fresh. The dish comes with potatoes as a side along with steak on a skillet, keeping the food warm.
Kobe Beef Teriyaki Burger $18
Kobe beef teriyaki homemade burger with smoked gouda sauce. It is served with fries and pickles. ‘DECK’, the restaurant’s logo is engraved on the burger.
Spicy Ahi Poke $14
Poke is a Hawaii’s signature food. Chunks of spicy tuna sashimi mixed with soy sauce, ginger, sriracha, tomatoes and cucumber served with brown rice.
Kona Kampachi Sashimi
Considered a luxurious appetizer, Kona Kampachi (Kona bred yellowtail) sashimi is mixed with Japanese Yuzu Kosho, ponzu , sesame, radish, and chives.

Chicken wings cooked with spicy and sweet sauce, perfect for your appetite. The wings are neither salty nor too sweet, and the crispy texture makes it even better.
