Seoul Tofu House announced to be the newest Korean restaurant in the community on January 26th and hosted soft opening for media and travel industry agencies on February 22nd.
The parent company of Seoul Tofu House, 여덟끼니, is based in Seoul and is a Korean franchise catering company. The company operates many reputable restaurants in Korea, and Waikiki was fortunate to be the location for its 25th restaurant, Seoul Tofu House. The restaurant is located in the center of Waikiki and delivers an authentic taste of Korean cuisine popular among Hawaii locals and Korean foodies. It specializes in one of the most known Korean dishes, Soft Tofu Soup. Even if you are not familiar with Korean cuisine, the menu is simple and original that you will not be disappointed.

Usually when a business hosts a grand opening in Hawaii, traditional Hawaiian blessing ceremony takes place to wish success. In addition, Korean blessing ceremony occurred simultaneously. The attendees were entertained.

You can choose from 11 different kinds of Soft Tofu Soup prepared to suit all tastes.
All Soft Tofu Soup entrees come with four side dishes, one serving of rice and seaweed for $13.99. Most common Soft Tofu Soup are the Seafood, Beef, Kimchi, Pork and Assorted. Much less common are Mapo Tofu, Curry, Ham&Cheese, Cod Roe and Tomato. In addition to the 11 different Soft Tofu Soup menu, Seoul Tofu House offers other entrees such as ribs, pork, Korean cold noodles, Meat Jun, Korean pancakes in seafood and kimchi, and chicken stir fry.

Located on Kuhio Avenue of central Waikiki, Seoul Tofu House is on the first floor of The Laylow, Autograph Collection Hotel. There are Duke’s Marketplace, Nordstrom, Ross and Hyatt Centric Hotel to the right side of the restaurant. On the left side, there is the famous International Market Place. The area surrounding Seoul Tofu House is generally flooded with people. There are many dessert/ice cream shops and cafes as well.
If you’d like, outside seating is available. You can eat and people watch comfortably. Seoul Tofu House sets new standard for Korean restaurants with cleanliness, simplicity, and creativity.
