Hawaii Food and Wine Festival (HFWF) is the largest annual chain of festivals in the Pacific that lasts about 3 weeks in Hawaii<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong>. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Ko olina’s ‘Life’s a Beach’ is a signature festival that takes place on the eve of the last day of HFWF event. Life\u2019s a Beach boasts a completely different concept from the luxurious hotel parties and festivals, and is located on the beautiful sandy beach of Ko Olina. This is one of the more unique festivals of the entire event as you can enjoy walking barefoot and\u00a0 a true Hawaiian-style theme. The festival is colored with culmination of the entire HFWF events. It comprises of tasting variety of food and drinks and enjoying the romantic sunset and fireworks<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span>. Life\u2019s a Beach showcases dishes made from all over the world by 12 renowned chefs, beautiful lightings and exciting live music performances. Close to the end of the festival, event coordinators and the participants take the stage to greet and thank the event attendees before concluding the festival with spectacular fireworks. Attendees enjoy an eventful evening of trying various cocktails, beer and wine made by master mixologists and delicious dishes prepared by some of the world\u2019s greatest chefs. With the concept of East and West Cuisine mixture, Hawai’i Food & Wine Festival started in 2011 and continued for the ninth year. This year’s events were held for about three weeks from October 5th to 27th. Other events took place in Big Island, Maui and Waikiki. About 150 renowned chefs from all over the world participated plus many savvy wine experts and master mixologists.<\/span><\/span><\/h6>\n
Hawaii Food & Wine Festival was founded by Hawaii\u2019s own chefs, Roy Yamaguchi and Alan Wong. They have previously won James Beard Awards,\u00a0 food industry equivalent of the Oscars. Yamaguchi and Wong run successful restaurant businesses as well. Every year, the events evolve and progress with a mission to attract guests from all over the world to Hawaii.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/h6>\n
